Technology: Freedom, or Monarchy?

Have I been writing a little too much about technology the past few days? For some reason, it’s the only thing that I’ve got on my mind. So, why not talk a little MORE about it? We’re used to the high tech stuff, you too chicken to read on? Just come along, read as I tell you about what tech might hold for us in the future.
Loads of people travel down the big-city streets walking. If someone from the 80’s were to examine them, they’d say they were normal people. Just wearing weird clothes. But if they looked in a little closer, they’d begin to see the cell phones hooked to the ears, iPods as well.
Think of the future. We’ll ought to hold a bunch of tech, lots more than we do today? But is it possible that we go a little too far with it, and make a mistake?
We could. Think of the future. Maybe we’ll have time machines or something, but take a closer look. Is it possible we go so far, that we decide to hook everybody up.
Everybody’s hearts, beating in sync. Every person’s role, man, woman, child, would be the same, for their category. That’d be a little insane, everybody without their own minds?
It kind of reminds me of the book “A Wrinkle in Time” where three kids go on a mission to find their father. Along the way, they meet the super computer “it” and discover what he truly is.
You probably won’t be reading the book, so I’ll tell you what happens. Well, I’ll tell you about “it”. “It” runs everybody on the planet, all so they think alike, talk alike, and do things alike. The people are brainwashed by “it”, brains replaced by “it”. So, I guess he wouldn’t mind if you called him a brain.
Hopefully, technology won’t turn into a monarchy. It should be left as a world, for us to discover and conquer. Not abuse or use as a device to take over.
